Trade Compliance Admin - Life Sciences

Our client, a leading organisation in the Life Sciences industry, is seeking a Trade Compliance Administrator to join their dynamic Trade Compliance team. This is a temporary ongoing, full-time position that offers an exceptional opportunity for individuals who are eager to excel and contribute to innovative administrative solutions.

This role can be either fully remote, fully on-site at our office in Loughborough or hybrid.

As a Trade Compliance Admin, you will play a crucial role in the Trade Compliance team. Your responsibilities will include building import shipments in software, performing data entry based on commercial invoices, updating Excel spreadsheets, identifying discrepancies, and analysing data and patterns. Additionally, you will be responsible for contacting suppliers, freight forwarders, brokers, and internal stakeholders to obtain any necessary missing information. Having knowledge of commodity codes and classification will be a plus. You may also be assigned any additional duties as required by the team.

To be successful in this role, you must have proven experience in an administrative or similar role. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks and determine priorities effectively. A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow are highly valued attributes for this position.
