The company
A global manufacturing company based in Oldbury with over 90 years in operation and over 50,000 employees. Working in the Metals industry, they are looking to add to their Design team.
The role
A Draughtsperson is now required to join the team in Oldbury for a Global Manufacturer.
You will take responsibility for:
- Reading engineering drawings from customers to determine requirements for design
- Manual entry or importing bulk files onto in house software and get drawings ready for production teams
- Working with the manufacturing and production teams to ensure that designs are correct and feasible for manufacturing
- Have communication with all levers of internal seniority and external customers
What you need
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:
- Have good organisational skills and stay elf motivated with the evolving workload
- Excellent timekeeping and attendance
- Work under pressure and complete work on time
- Communication skills suitable for all levels
- Be very meticulous with drawings and show excellent attention to detail
Other DESIRABLE skills include:
- Previous experience designing structures within the metal industry would be an advantage
- Previous experience working in the metals industry
What is on OFFER?
On offer is the opportunity to join a global manufacturer within Oldbury. There is a salary of between £28k and £32k, with enrolment in a company pension scheme, health cash plan, life assurance and 33 days holiday including bank holidays.
