We are recruiting a number of candidates to work in the Public Sector as part of their Street Care/ Environmental Services team.
Job Title: Street Care Operative (Leafing)
Working times: 6am - 2pm (35 hours per week)
Pay rate: £15.18
Weekly pay
The main purpose of the role is to uphold the environmental standards set nationally or locally and to contribute to the task of keeping the Borough clean.
Your main duties will include:
- To sweep footpaths and channels, empty litter bins, remove other rubbish / detritus as required whilst working either as a lone worker or part of a mobile team
- Collect Fly tipping/ Leafing
- Collect refuse working with a team (Recycling/ Garden Waste/ Bulk Waste)
- Being required to work as and where the service requires
