Lead Financial Analyst | Global Firm | London

An opportunity has arisen for a seasoned Lead Financial Analyst to join a renowned global law firm based in London. This pivotal role will oversee financial planning and analysis, driving the firm's budgeting and forecasting efforts and influencing key financial decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead a comprehensive budget planning process, collaborating closely with department heads to craft revenue forecasts and optimise profitability.
  • Manage dynamic, long-term financial forecasts to support ongoing business strategies.
  • Partner with internal finance teams to coordinate central budget planning, ensuring deadlines are met and targets achieved.
  • Design and manage cashflow models to support liquidity planning and maintain financial stability.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and introduce automation for increased efficiency.
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships across departments, and contribute to future financial growth initiatives.
  • Assess and lead the implementation of external financial software tools to enhance forecasting capabilities.

Key Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis within a professional services environment, law firm experience preferred.
  • ACA or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Expertise in advanced Excel, with demonstrated experience in building financial models for forecasting and budgeting.
  • Familiarity with the Elite 3e system is a bonus.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders.
