Salary: £29,500 to £32,000, dependent on experience.

CityFleet is looking for a dynamic Training Centre Manager, or a qualified Assessor/IQA looking for the next step in their career, to join our developing Business Support team. If you have a passion for providing high-quality training programs and fostering a supportive learning environment for internal and external learners, we want you on our team. Based in the Wirral but operating across the Northwest, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the standards, reputation, offerings and business of the companies Training Centres.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day running of the training centre, advising candidates on our range of courses and ensuring training is delivered to high standards and in compliance with requirements.
  • Identify and explore different methods of attracting candidates to fill the training calendar and ensure that courses are fully booked, generating new leads and maintaining existing candidate relationships.
  • Create, develop and update internal and external training programmes and support materials.
  • Represent the centre at meetings, conferences and promotional events.
  • Cover training delivery and assessments, as required.
  • Ensure the consistency and quality of training and assessments through regular internal verification and quality assurance activities.

Qualifications:

  • Recognised qualification (e.g. A1, CAVA, D32/D33, L&D9D, TAQA 3/4).
  • Either hold or are working towards a recognised qualification (e.g. D34, L4 IQA, L&D11, V1).
  • Minimum of 3-years' experience in vocational training, work-based training, further education or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in using computer applications, especially Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

No experience in the taxi or transportation industry required. Experience in vocational or work-based training outside the transportation industry is acceptable (e.g. Construction, Business Skills, Engineering, Health & Social, Hospitality, Logistics, etc.).
