We are recruiting for a Risk Administrator on an initial 3 months Fixed-Term Contract to join the asset finance arm of a large European corporate banking group, with worldwide jurisdiction.
The position itself will give the successful candidate the opportunity to be paid a competitive salary with the entitlement to a performance related bonus!
Responsibilities (Summary)
- Follow a pre-determined checklist on all transactions before underwriting to ensure compliance with Bank parameters.
- Perform naming searches within the firm's Risk System to accurately report exposure levels.
- Conduct searches within the worldwide database to identify customer relationships.
- Cross-reference customers and their Ultimate Beneficial Owners against the Bank's higher risk database.
- Verify customers against the Bank's exclusion list for specific business activities.
- Review and authenticate suppliers in customer transactions.
- Support the Risk team with ad-hoc administrative tasks and maintain accurate data in the firm's systems.
Essential Criteria (Skills and Technical Knowledge)
- Knowledge of/experience in administrative risk management
- Experience working within the financial services sector.
- Able to start immediately or with a notice period of 2 weeks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
- Effective time management and organisational skills.
- Methodical approach with strong attention to detail.
