Job Description:
As a Biology Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in Biology to students up to A Level. You will create engaging and challenging lessons, assess student progress, and foster a positive learning environment that supports academic and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective Biology lessons to students at Key Stages 3, 4, and A Level.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
- Develop and implement a dynamic Biology curriculum that meets the needs of all students.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to different learning styles.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Biology curriculum and advancements in the field.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for the subject.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Relevant degree in Biology or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching Biology at the secondary school level, with the ability to teach up to A Level.
- Strong knowledge of the Biology curriculum and exam requirements.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
