My client, a leader in the design and manufacture of microwave and millimetre wave electronics for telecommunications, satellite communications, and defense, is seeking a Trainee Stores Operator. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to learn the operations of a fast-paced stores environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive all deliveries and verify goods received.
- Communicate with the Purchasing team regarding deliveries and stock discrepancies.
- Maintain detailed records of shortages and requisition processes.
- Regularly update inventory management systems, ensuring full lot traceability.
- Pick goods in line with shop floor requirements.
- Organize collection and dispatch of goods using third-party software.
- Ensure all goods are stored in appropriate environmental conditions.
Skills & Experience:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt.
- Positive attitude and team player.
- Minimum 4 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English.
