Payroll Officer (with some accounts) Dudley Salary £35k (Depending on experience)

A Payroll & Accounts Specialist required to join a busy team in Dudley. In this role you will be joining a well established business that has been in the industry for over 40 years.

You will play a vital role in processing the weekly payroll and assisting with day-to-day duties in the account's office.

Duties will include:

  • Weekly payroll for 200 employees
  • Managing holiday entitlement
  • Recording employee absences
  • General accounts office duties, including:
  • Handle queries from suppliers, customers, and internal teams
  • Provide general administrative support
  • Working closely with other departments
  • Inputting & scanning invoices
  • Opening new accounts & confirming bank details
  • Reconcile customer & supplier accounts
  • Checking & controlling daily e-mails
  • Data entry of purchase invoices on a bespoke system
  • Checking invoices

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience with Sage 50 Payroll is essential (preferably 10+ years)
  • Experience within a similar role is essential
  • Good working knowledge of credit control and purchase ledger
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work off own initiative

Working Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday to Thursday 8:00am - 3:30pm Friday
