Payroll Officer (with some accounts) Dudley Salary £35k (Depending on experience)
A Payroll & Accounts Specialist required to join a busy team in Dudley. In this role you will be joining a well established business that has been in the industry for over 40 years.
You will play a vital role in processing the weekly payroll and assisting with day-to-day duties in the account's office.
Duties will include:
- Weekly payroll for 200 employees
- Managing holiday entitlement
- Recording employee absences
- General accounts office duties, including:
- Handle queries from suppliers, customers, and internal teams
- Provide general administrative support
- Working closely with other departments
- Inputting & scanning invoices
- Opening new accounts & confirming bank details
- Reconcile customer & supplier accounts
- Checking & controlling daily e-mails
- Data entry of purchase invoices on a bespoke system
- Checking invoices
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience with Sage 50 Payroll is essential (preferably 10+ years)
- Experience within a similar role is essential
- Good working knowledge of credit control and purchase ledger
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work off own initiative
Working Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday to Thursday 8:00am - 3:30pm Friday
