Description

Key responsibilities for the Finance business partner

  • Providing strategic financial advice to senior management.
  • Ensuring financial compliance and effective risk management.
  • Developing and maintaining budgetary control systems.
  • Manage and mentor a small team, fostering a collaborative environment that drives high performance
  • Identifying opportunities for financial improvement and cost reduction.
  • Preparation and presentation of financial reports.
  • Contributing to the development of the trust's financial strategy.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of financial policies.
  • Collaborating with other departments for financial planning and forecasting.

Profile

A successful Finance Business Partner should have:

  • A qualification in Accounting or Finance (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
  • Experience in strategic financial planning and analysis.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proven ability in financial management and budget control.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience in a Not for Profit or similar sector.

Job Offer

  • A competitive salary of approximately £50,000 - £57,000 per year.
