Medical Receptionist

A private medical clinic is seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to join their team. This is a busy, fast paced role liaising with High Net Worth patients over the phone, email and face to face, and managing the clinicians diaries.

Ideal candidates will have experience in a similar position, preferably in a Private medical health care setting. You will display empathy and compassion to the patients, who will often have very sensitive needs, with the ability to provide a high level of assistance to the clinicians.

Main duties include:

  • First point of contact for all patients and relatives, Doctors, Nurses and Healthcare staff
  • Ensuring a high level of Customer Service is provided at all times
  • Ensuring that the Reception area is clean and well maintained
  • Updating Patient notes and details on the database
  • Attend to patients queries and needs
  • Follow and adhere to compliance and policy procedures
  • Follow and maintain each Surgery processes and health & safety guidelines
  • Assist with administration duties
  • Scanning & matching documentation

You will be:

  • Min three years' experience as a Medical Secretary
  • Knowledge of Semble or Hey Doc packages preferred
  • Strong educational background
  • Experience working in a high pressured, fast paced environment
  • Highly personable
  • Emotionally intelligent

Please note, this is a fully office based role, Monday to Friday.
