Duration: Initially 3 months Hours: 37 hours a week Location: Worcester Rate: £15.75 umbrella an hour
Job Overview
Worcestershire County Council are seeking a dedicated and experienced Contact Worker to join their team.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise family time and ensure that it is safe, child appropriate, and enjoyable
- Complete written recordings of observations of family time
- Ensure that the written recordings are accurate, factual, and reflect the time the family has spent together
- Work with children who are predominantly looked after, along with immediate and extended family members
- Facilitate family time sessions both within venues and within the community
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role is essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driving license and access to a vehicle
