REED Technology are currently recruiting for a Research and Insight Officer on behalf of a local authority. This role is within their Business Intelligence Service and is pivotal in providing top-tier business intelligence support for surveys and consultations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Intelligence Support: Provide expert support on surveys and consultations, ensuring data collection and analysis meets the highest standards.
- Project Management: Gather requirements for small-scale projects, design the activity, prepare necessary materials, and manage the project lifecycle from start to finish.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Produce high-quality analytical reports, dashboards, and presentations tailored for a variety of audiences, ensuring clarity and actionable insights.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Research Manager to align on project goals and deliverables.
- IT Proficiency: Utilise a variety of IT packages to present data and information effectively. Demonstrate excellent IT skills and a proven ability to learn new software quickly.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience: Proven experience in presenting data and information using various IT packages.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of SNAP or similar survey tools, Tableau, SPSS, R, and Excel is essential.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities with a keen eye for detail and the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
