Area Sales Manager

Area Sales Managers are defined accounts up to £250,000 revenue, operating as regional single-source agreements, for the provision of hazardous wastes and associated services to some of the UKs SME industrial businesses.

As a Tradebe Area Sales Manager (ASM), you will be responsible for a portfolio of accounts within your region, ensuring the delivery of an exceptional customer experience alongside profitable sales and growth.

You will foster partnerships with accounts - typically industrial producers in key manufacturing markets, creating a detailed understanding of the customer. You will coordinate Tradebe resource and infrastructure to ensure that customer needs are met and exceeded - both tactically and strategically.

You will lead portfolio accounts delivering environmental improvements through a solution-based approach, utilising Tradebe's extensive treatment infrastructure, technologies and services to create sustainable hazardous waste solutions for our customers.

You'll need a broad knowledge of the hazardous waste market place, with demonstrable evidence of account growth within manufacturing industries including petrochemical, pharmaceutical, chemical and metals sectors.

As an area sales manager, your influence will extend beyond portfolio growth, and you'll use your knowledge and skills to influence the strategic direction of our business and our propositions and solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Managing, delivering and exceeding all sales targets for a defined scope of industrial customers in key target markets
  • Building environmental hazardous waste solutions that meet and exceed customers' business and environmental needs, delivering mutual value for both customer and Tradebe
  • Maintaining a broad knowledge of sustainability and environmental issues, leading opinions on circularity and emerging technologies, and using this to influence both customers and internal stakeholders
  • Driving a high level of customer satisfaction and advocacy in key target markets through personal activity and leveraging the wider team
  • Influencing in key target markets to create incremental sales opportunities across Tradebe's infrastructure.
  • Developing and driving account management plans to develop and grow accounts delivering committed volume to Tradebe treatment infrastructure
  • Identification of industrial producers in key target markets, nurturing relationships to build a qualified pipeline to support sales growth.
  • Maintenance of pipeline and forecasting utilising business CRM syste

The candidate

We seek an individual with a proven track record of delivering targets within an account management role. You will be an environmental industry expert, with a specialist knowledge of hazardous waste markets and solutions.

Results oriented with a passion for delivery, you will possess excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with strong influencing and negotiation abilities.
