We're partnering with a high-profile global health foundation to recruit a dynamic Grants Finance Manager to oversee the financial aspects of the grantmaking activities, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and impact. This is a newly created role, formed to take enable a dedicated Grants Finance specialist to take ownership, encouraging effective grants financial management and reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct financial assessments and due diligence for grant applicants.
- Manage grant contracts, disbursements, and financial reporting.
- Coordinate grant audits and follow-up on recommendations.
- Provide expert financial advice and support to the team.
- Monitor grant budgets and expenditure, providing analysis and recommendations.
- Business Partner with Grants Leads to ensure financial integrity.
Skills & experience
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Previous experience in grant finance management, ideally within international NGO however experience with grants/donors in an audit setting is also welcome.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel.
