Field Engineer
Location: Field-Based - mainly covering the South East
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000
We're hiring on behalf of a Service Provider seeking a Field Engineer to support network, cabling, and EPOS installations across various sites. This is a hands-on, mobile role ideal for someone with technical skills and a customer-focused approach.
Key Duties:
- Install and support network and EPOS equipment on-site
- Pull, terminate, and test structured cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, fibre)
- Troubleshoot connectivity, hardware, and EPOS faults
- Maintain accurate site documentation and reports
- Work across commercial/retail environments with occasional travel
Requirements:
- Experience with network cabling and field installations
- Understanding of networking basics (IP, DHCP, switches)
- EPOS support or installation experience
- Full UK driving licence
