Refuse Loader
Location: Brentwood CM13 3BH
Hourly rate: £12.66
Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-3pm
Opus People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of Brentwood Borough Council for a Refuse Loader to temporarily join their busy team within the Council's Waste & Recycling Collection department.
The sucessful candidate will be physically fit able to work outdoors in all weathers.
Duties:
- Responsible for refuse and recycling collection from all properties listed including wheeled bins, bulk containers, sacks and bulky items
- Manual handling, clearing of fly tipping, manoeuvring wheeled bins between storage points and vehicles, use the lifting mechanism on the vehicle
- Litter picking and bin emptying
- Walking up to 10 miles per day
- Maintaining a good service to the public at all times
