The Stock and Purchase Controller will be responsible for managing stock levels and making key purchasing decisions in the industrial/manufacturing sector. This role will be based in Chesterfield and will be a part of the Procurement & Supply Chain department.

Description

  • Manage and monitor stock levels across various departments.
  • Make informed purchasing decisions to ensure optimal stock levels.
  • Collaborate with the Procurement & Supply Chain department to streamline operations.
  • Ensure timely supply of materials to meet production schedules.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits.
  • Work closely with suppliers to maintain good relationships and negotiate contracts.
  • Forecast future supply needs based on sales data and trends.
  • Implement strategies to reduce waste and increase efficiency.

Profile

A successful Stock and Purchase Controller should have:

  • A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and procurement principles.
  • Strong analytical skills to forecast demand and manage inventory.
  • Excellent negotiation skills for dealing with suppliers.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software.

Job Offer
