QC Chemist - FMCG - Norfolk

As a QC Chemist / Lab Supervisor you will have autonomy and the chance to progress further in the business.
Requirements:
- Previous FMCG industry experience within Quality Control
- The techniques required are wet chemistry techniques ( titrations, viscosities, SG's, active determinations) and general lab techniques
- Understanding of micro's would be good but not essential.
- Able to work in a fast paced environment
- Able to occasional cover later shifts running from 1pm - 9pm
Daily duties
- Working within a manufacturing environment with a hands on approach to create and implement best practice quality
- Be the go to person for dealing with quality issues
- Supporting customer on boarding process
- Testing products
- Monitoring finished goods quality
- Support manufacturing and materials trials
- Managing / mentoring technicians
- Contributing to new business initiatives
