Daily Rate: £85 - £100
Contract: Temp to Perm

Days: Monday to Friday
Hours: 8:30am to 3:30pm
LTF Recruitment is seeking a Year 2 Teaching Assistant to join an Ofsted-rated 'Good' three-form entry primary school in Wyken.
The Role:
- Support teaching and learning in Year 2, focusing on math and literacy interventions to help students reach their full potential.
- Provide tailored support to small groups and individual students who need extra help with numeracy and literacy skills.
- Assist with whole-class instruction while working closely with the class teacher to ensure the best learning outcomes for all students.
- Foster a supportive, inclusive, and safe environment where children feel confident to learn and grow.
Ideal Candidate:
- Level 2/3 qualification in Supporting Teaching & Learning or a relevant degree.
- Minimum of 12 months' experience in an educational setting, ideally in Key Stage 1.
- Experience running 1:1 and small group intervention sessions focused on math and literacy.
- Knowledge of the Key Stage 1 UK curriculum, particularly in math and literacy.
- Experience working with children with SEN.
- A calm, patient, and caring demeanor with strong communication skills.
- A solid understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines.
