As a Forest School Leader, you'll play a crucial role in creating memorable experiences for children with additional needs.
Responsibilities:
- Implementing the Forest School Approach: Lead the development and delivery of engaging forest school activities that promote curiosity, exploration, and learning.
- Observation and Planning: Observe children's interests and tailor activities to meet their individual learning needs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with teaching staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to children's development.
- Health and Safety: Maintain a safe and stimulating outdoor environment, adhering to safeguarding guidelines.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Forest School Level 3 Qualification: Holding this form of qualification is preferable or can be worked towards
- Experience: Proven experience working with children, especially those with additional needs.
- Passion: A genuine passion for outdoor learning and a commitment to fostering children's well-being.
- Creativity: Ability to design and deliver innovative forest school sessions.
- Team Player: Collaborate effectively with colleagues and parents.
