Our client is a reputable engineering firm who specialises in manufacturing of forming tools, due to an increased order book they're looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design and develop drawings using Siemens NX
- Working closely with customers to refine design/solutions.
- End-to-end project management of individual engineered solutions
- Involvement in procurement of parts, materials and subcontract processes related to
- projects
- Recording of work information/data to help monitor costing and efficiency.
- Ensure traceability is always maintained on the appropriate Tools, Materials &
About you
- Engineering Qualifications to support experience.
- HND/C or degree in Mechanical Engineering
- General engineering experience (i.e Turning, Milling and grinding)
- Knowledge of 3D CAD systems is essential.
- Excellent customer service skills & conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times
- Good telephone manner
