SEN Teaching Assistant

Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs (SEN)? Dunbar Education is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for a primary school in Milton Keynes, starting this September.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Students: Assist children with SEN in their daily activities and learning.
  • Classroom Assistance: Help the class teacher create an inclusive environment.
  • IEPs: Implement and monitor individualized education plans.
  • Behavior Management: Support students' emotional and social development.
  • Collaboration: Work with teachers, SENCOs, and other staff.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous work with SEN children is desirable.
  • Qualifications: Relevant qualifications preferred but not essential.
  • Skills: Strong communication, patience, and adaptability.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of SEN conditions and support strategies.

Additional Information:

  • Contract Type: Full-time, Term Time
  • Hours: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
  • Pay: £85-£95 per day, depending on experience
