Senior Payroll Administrator

Are you an experienced Payroll professional looking for a new challenge?

Do you have experience of running end to end payrolls within a Bureau or Practice environment?

Reporting to the Payroll Manager the role will provide a full payroll service including auto enrolment pension management to a wide range of clients using Sage.

Duties will include:

  • Processing weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls in a timely manner
  • Processing complex payrolls
  • Manual calculations of SSP, SMP, SPP
  • Completion of any forms for DWP if required
  • Liaising with clients regarding any payroll queries
  • Production of packs of reports
  • Maintenance of the work schedule
  • Issuing online payslips
  • Prepare banking to pass on to senior management
  • Upload pensions and liaise with providers
  • Year end reports
  • Assist managers in preparing quotes for cyclical re-enrolment process
  • Supporting other team members as needed

Person specification :

  • High volume payroll experienced gained within a bureau
  • Upto date knowledge of payroll legislation
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Advanced excel skills
  • Experienced in Sage
