Description
- Oversee all procurement and supply chain activities for renewable energy projects.
- Develop, implement and monitor strategic procurement plans.
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies with business goals.
- Monitor market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with industry and company procurement standards and policies.
- Manage risks within the supply chain and implement mitigation strategies.
- Lead and develop a high-performing procurement team.
Profile
A successful Procurement Manager should have:
- A degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Experience managing procurement processes within the renewable energy or Utilities sector.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage supplier relationships.
- Knowledge of procurement strategies and supply chain management.
- Leadership skills and the ability to drive team performance.
