We are seeking a Learning Support Assistant with a passion for education and a dedication to helping students achieve their full potential. This role is ideal for someone with experience in an educational setting and the necessary qualifications to support learning across various age groups and abilities.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Provide tailored support to individual students or small groups to enhance their learning and development.
  • Assist with the preparation of learning materials and the maintenance of a conducive classroom environment.
  • Work in collaboration with teachers to monitor students' progress and contribute to their individual learning plans.
  • Encourage students' independence, self-confidence, and active engagement in the classroom.
  • Support students with special educational needs, ensuring they have equal access to learning opportunities.
  • Facilitate effective communication between students, teachers, and parents as required.
  • Adhere to all school policies and procedures, particularly those relating to safeguarding and confidentiality.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working in an educational setting.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated patience, empathy, and a positive approach to student development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other educational staff.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development.
