Tradewind is currently looking for a nurturing and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher for our lovely client school in Bury.
Position: Year 2 Teacher
Contract: September 2024 - July 2024
Location: Bury
Contract: Full-time
Salary: £140 - £200 per day, subject to experience
This 'Good', two-form entry school is committed to building a nurturing and inclusive, education environment for all students to succeed in.
This position is suitable for Early Career Teachers.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering high-quality lessons that engage and challenge pupils, helping them to achieve their full potential.
- Utilise schemes of work such as Supersonic Phonic Friends and White Rose Maths to support planning and teaching in line with the National Curriculum
- Assess, record and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils
- Work as part of a passionate team of teachers and support staff to provide a creative and stimulating learning environment.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience teaching Key Stage 1
- Experience supporting students with SEND
- Confident in planning and delivering creative and scaffolded lessons
- Passion for creating a positive and impactful learning experience
- Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
- Have the legal right to work in the UK
