ROLE: CAD Engineer
SALARY: Up to £35,000 DOE
LOCATION: Sandwell (office based)
THE COMPANY: We are currently working with a leading business, based in Sandwell, who are looking to recruit an experienced CAD Engineer to join their team.

THE CANDIDATE: The right candidate will have at least 3 years' experience as a CAD Engineer; ideally within an Engineering or Automotive environment.
The ability to create both 2D and 3D drawings using Inventor and AutoCAD is essential.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Design new and existing parts in 3D using Inventor.
- Generate 2D engineering and manufacturing drawings from 3D CAD models with AutoCAD.
- Oversee the production of 3D printed prototypes using in-house equipment, refining designs based on testing outcomes.
- Collaborate with Machining, Welding, and Assembly Line departments.
- Update and revise existing drawings to reflect design changes in coordination with the Technical Manager.
- Develop and maintain service manuals.
- Set up filing systems for drawings to ensure they remain current and are properly stored in the vault.
- Prepare drawings for patent applications.
