Senior Electrical Design Engineer - Up to £60,000 DOE - Windsor or Northwest - Hybrid
I'm working with an industry leader in the renewable energy generation industry who are searching for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to enhance the delivery of solar projects. With a new net zero energy plan, my client will be investing around £800 million per year in renewable generation facilitating the development of an array of exciting pipeline projects.
With a pioneering and collaborative culture at the heart of this companies' ethos, this opportunity presents the chance to work closely with other engineers and teams to execute projects.
Some Key Responsibilities:
- Producing initial concept designs for proposals and tenders through to drawings and specifications and commission.
- Understanding of UK grid code and electrical systems.
- Creating detailed cable schedule designs, calculations, list of materials, and assessing risks.
- Producing, reviewing and supporting LV and HV electrical designs.
- Generating layouts for large scale PV plants.
Key Requirements:
- Over 4 years of experience working with commercial/ industrial LV and HV electrical systems.
- BS7671 experience.
- A degree in ONC/HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
