Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will manage all aspects of purchase ledger as well as a range of administrative tasks

Description
The Finance Assistant will be responsible for:
- Matching, batching, and coding purchase invoices
- Processing payment runs
- Allocating payments
- Statement reconciliations
- Query resolution
- Bank and cash reconciliation
- CIS reconciliation
- Building and maintaining positive working relationships with suppliers
- Participating in ad hoc project work
- Financial administration
Profile
The successful Finance Assistant should have:
- A proven track record within a busy accounts role
- AAT L2 or above (desirable)
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other accounting software (ideally Sage)
- An understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
