What you'll be doing
We are looking for a Line Leader/ Line Technician to work in our manufacturing site in Warrington on a 4 on 4 off shift 06:00 - 17:10
Pay Rate is £14.48 per hour, permanent contract, company benefits
Working within an exciting and fast paced environment, you will be a key member of our team and will ensure the service we provide to our customer is of exceptional quality. The role can be physically demanding with a good amount of pushing, pulling and lifting involved. Further duties of the role include:
- You will be responsible at the start/end of shift for doing all fail safe checks on Metal detectors, Checkweigher and Autocoding and filling in the relevant paperwork.
- Being responsible for setting up sleever, scanning in the product checking dates and outcase labels all correspond with the price list.
- Hourly checks to be carried out on metal detectors, checkweighers and auto-coding filling in the relevant paperwork.
- Being able to give direction to the staff on the line in a professional manner.
- Working to complete plan to the best of your ability.
- Reporting of damaged machinery/line/ Health & Safety issues.
- Work as part of a team in a chilled and noisy environment
What we're looking for
- Ideally worked in Manufacturing previously
- Experience delegating tasks to a team
- Good level of English and Math's
- Technically minded and computer literate
- Attention to detail and ability to work unsupervised
- Good communication skills
- Can-do attitude and willingness to help team in times on demand
- Basic understanding of health & Safety and Food Hygiene (although training will be given)
