Purchase Ledger Clerk (Temporary - 2 Roles Available)

Birchwood - 10 weeks

Overview

Our Birchwood based client are seeking two temporary Purchase Ledger Clerks to start immediately. These roles involve providing essential support to our business by processing purchase invoices through to Supplier Accounts on the Purchase Ledger, ensuring timely payments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily High-Volume Processing: Utilise Invoice Data Capture and Automatic Purchase Order Matching Systems to handle large volumes of invoices.
  • Data Capture Verification: Ensure accuracy and consistency in data capture.
  • Exception Handling: Process Purchase Order Matching exceptions promptly and accurately.
  • Reconciliation: Conduct monthly supplier statement reconciliations to ensure records are up-to-date.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not required.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is essential.
  • Pressure Handling: Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Team Collaboration: Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Organisational Abilities: Demonstrated excellent administrative and organisational skills.
  • Initiative: Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Communication: Good communication skills across all levels of the organisation.
