An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled IT Trainer to lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive IT training strategy within an organisation that values a self-learn approach to learning. The IT Trainer is instrumental in ensuring that team members are proficient and confident in their use of IT systems, which is fundamental to the organisation's commitment to delivering positive outcomes.

**Day-to-day of the role:

  • Develop and implement an IT training strategy to ensure end users are proficient in the use of application software and IT policy.
  • Support users to fully exploit technology to work effectively and efficiently.
  • Manage the delivery of new features, systems, and enhancements, including testing, technical support, communications, and training.
  • Lead on communications for IT support teams to ensure key messages are delivered to all users.
  • Assist with IT Support calls and drive the IT service improvement process.
  • Support the development of IT services, advocating for end users.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders to create and deliver outstanding learning interventions.
  • Contribute to IT projects in an advisory capacity and manage the rollout of training for new applications.

**Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Office 365 and Microsoft Teams.
  • Experience in training with Microsoft packages and CRM systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in IT training and support.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate across teams.
  • Creative, self-starting, and flexible, with a natural approach to learning and problem-solving.
  • Ability to research, acquire knowledge, and make actionable recommendations.
  • Interest in developing knowledge of the sector and the political environment in which the organisation operates.
