This is a new role part of ICAEW's Member and Commercial marketing team. We support on the delivery of the marketing, campaigns, and engagement activities that promote the value of membership and commercial initiatives.
Overall Purpose of this role of Senior Marketing Executive
The main purpose of the Senior Marketing Executive will be to lead on the delivery of the marketing, campaign and engagement activities for our products and services to support our ICAEW members.
The role holder will be expected to build strong relationships with a diverse array of internal and external stakeholders. The role holder will also be required to be a strong ambassador for the team, position themselves as a marketing expert and a brand champion.
The role holder will have line management responsibility for a Marketing Executive.
Senior Marketing Executive Responsibilities include:
- Develop, implement, and monitor effective and innovative marketing and communication plans to deliver the member portfolio. Develop and implement specific audience messaging.
- Produce high quality reporting, accounting for all customer touch points. Provide monthly reports and produce top level stakeholder reports when required.
- Take ownership at meetings. This includes initiating project or campaign 'kick-off' meetings and subsequent follow up meetings.
- Provide clear line management for the Marketing Executive, setting clear expectations, objective setting, and day to day management.
- Be the team's E-communications expert - the 'go-to' for anyone in the team who needs advice. This also includes being the team's email authoriser and sender.
- Commitment to professional development. This includes keeping up to date with the latest practices in email communications with a view to improving existing email practices across the team. Lead on development of templates for events, newsletters and email campaigns.
- Write and proofread marketing communications to ensure accuracy, adherence to in-house style, appropriate tone of voice and correct branding. This is particularly integral to fulfilling the role of email authoriser.
- A commitment to follow and apply to the team's values - so to think about experience (customer), engagement and evaluation, especially at campaign level.
Specific duties will vary from time to time in line with the business needs.
Senior Marketing Executive Candidate Profile
- Marketing qualification and/or demonstrable marketing experience is essential.
- Previous line management responsibility is preferable.
- Practical experience of developing marketing communications plans online and offline.
- Advanced level user of email platforms preferably Dot digital with experience of building segments. To work towards becoming an email authoriser and arrange sends.
- Ability to deliver measurable ROI on activities to support campaign and monthly reporting.
- Demonstrable experience in successful stakeholder management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
- Experienced with social media campaign management.
- Excellent copywriting for all platforms.
