Senior Business Travel Consultant

An exciting new vacancy has become available for a Senior Business Travel Consultant to join a leading Travel Management company based in the heart of London. Are you a Senior Business Travel Consultant who is Amadeus proficient? Are you happy to work hybrid? If yes - this role could be perfect for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dealing with any enquires received by phone and email
  • Dealing with complex itineraries including any flights, hotel, care hire and rail etc
  • Offer the best solution to your customers whilst optimizing profit
  • Providing quotes as well as issuing and reissuing tickets as well as refunds using GDS Amadeus
  • Manage queues and issue tickets prior to deadlines as well as handling any scheduled changes from airlines
  • Maintaining relationships with each customer
  • Stay up to date with the latest travel technology
  • Collaborate with the CEO to support the development of operational systems
  • Ensure that complaints and compliments are logged
  • Keep up to date on new products, fares, entries, developments, and changes within the industry
  • Work with client services and account managers to ensure any major problems/complaints are responded to in a timely manor
  • Assist team members with fares, ticketing, re-issues, complaints, and customer queries
  • Ensure individual KPI's are met
  • Assist with any ad-hoc projects where necessary

Skills Required:

  • Proficiency on GDS Amadeus
  • Excellent knowledge of fares
  • Competency on all ticketing processes

About you:

  • Good written English
  • Driven to solve problems for customers and team members
  • Knowledge of international travel products, geography, and current affairs
  • An excellent team player

What's on offer?
Competitive salary of between £30,000 - £35,000 DOE
Hybrid or remote
Shifts between 8am - 8pm
Monday - Friday
