**About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate EAL Tutor to join our secondary school on a supply basis. As an EAL Tutor, you will play a crucial role in supporting students who have English as an additional language. Your expertise will help these students integrate successfully into the school community and achieve their academic goals.
**Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored EAL support to students across different year groups.
- Assess students' language proficiency and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to create inclusive learning environments.
- Develop engaging and effective resources to enhance language acquisition.
- Monitor progress and provide feedback to students and parents/guardians.
**Requirements:
- Experience teaching/supporting EAL students.
- Experience working with EAL students in an educational setting.
- Strong communication skills and empathy.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
