Hours: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday
Location: Bournemouth- Full time - Office based

What are they looking for?

They are looking for a driven and focused individual who thrives in a role that involves both people and process- to join a small specialist team of four.

This niche team are based on the sales floor- at the very heart beat of the business where a large part of their day is spent supporting their brokers to get the best outcome for our customers. You won't be interacting with their customers directly, but you will be answering their internal medical phone line and supporting their brokers with product and provider information, to get the best policy they can for our customers.

This is a busy role and alongside supporting their sales teams you will be conducting research, liaising with our insurers, reviewing policies and keeping up to date with underwriting knowledge across the team. It is therefore critical you enjoy a challenge, love being busy and can juggle a number of priorities.

What will you be doing?

  • Answering the internal medical phone line and providing support to agents speaking to customers with medical conditions. You will work to understand what the customer's circumstances are and use your knowledge to help determine which provider will suit their needs
  • Completing 'pre- sales' calls with insurance providers to help identify if a customer is likely to be accepted for cover and determine the provider right for them
  • Reviewing policies that have been set up to ensure the customer has the best option for their situation, recording and providing feedback as required
  • Collaborating with the wider team to share best practice
  • Conducting proactive research to continue to build policy and provider knowledge

  • Experience of using systems and confident in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
