Reporting to: Managing Partner
Salary Guide: £40,000 - £60,000 + DOE and Client Book.
Flexibility: 1 Hybrid working day is available.

Simpson Judge are proud to be assisting a Leading Midlands Law firm in their search for a Head of Residential Property for their Telford office. A strong knowledge of the local area is essential however broader work can also be serviced by your new firms broader teams that are based across the West Midlands.

About the Role:

Our client is looking to bring on an experienced Residential Property Solicitor to come in and work on a variety of traditional conveyancing files that they already have, but with this being a head of department role it is important to have experience conducting and directing business development and growth.

Some of your day to day duties will include:

  • Managing your own limited caseload.
  • Supervising and aiding an existing team.
  • Providing excellent client care.
  • Engaging in business development to build the companies network when required or being able to delegate this within the team.

About You:

The ideal candidate will be a Qualified Solicitor with the following traits and experience:

  • A minimum of 10 years PQE and ideally been in charge of a team of any size previously.
  • You will possess strong technical knowledge and should have a meticulous eye for detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and consultancy skills in order to confidently engage with colleagues and clients
