Customer Service Advisor (Automotive)
Location: Downley, Buckinghamshire
Salary: £29,000 + Excellent Benefits
The Client:
Our client is a well-established vehicle repair centre, renowned for exceptional customer service and exceptional repair work.
The Role:
As a Service Advisor, you'll manage customer interactions and service bookings to ensure smooth workshop operations.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule service, repair, and MOT appointments, and manage courtesy car bookings.
- Order parts from suppliers, ensuring good communication with customers about work in progress and building trust.
- Track jobs through the workshop, including inspection videos, MOT reports, and quoting additional advisory work.
- Prepare invoices, ensure vehicles are ready for collection, and explain completed work to customers upon pick-up.
- Support CRM systems to drive new business and maintain communication with existing customers.
- Use garage management software to identify and report on lost opportunities and non-booked advisories.
- Maintain accurate stock levels and order replacement parts and consumables as needed.
Requirements:
- Previously worked as a Service Advisor or in a similar role.
- Possess relevant experience and qualifications.
- Able to create bookings, estimates, and invoices.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office and ideally have experience with TechMan Garage System Software.
- Valid UK driving licence.
Shifts:
- Monday - Friday: 08:00 - 17:30
- Occasional Saturday: 08:00 - 13:00
