Salary: £50,000 - £60,000

The primary focus of the role is to support the Chief Executive and other Directors in delivering excellent corporate governance and ensuring accurate minutes and records are maintained for a range of business committees.

Preparation for the Board and all board sub-committees. The role requires extensive interaction with the Company Secretariat Team.

The role also requires significant planning and organisation and exposure to the workings of the business at a senior level.

It is a highly sensitive position given its exposure to Shareholder and future business strategies/plans and the need to represent the Chief Executive to external partners and stakeholders.

  • Produce reports, scorecards, business updates and communication on behalf of the Chief Executive for the Board, sub-committees and other key meetings
  • Prepare agendas and minutes and collate papers for Board sub-committees, including the Business Management Forum, Audit and Risk Committee, Executive Risk Committee and Executive Team Meeting
  • Prepare agendas and minutes and collate papers for the Chief Financial Officer (FRES) and Managing Director (BOIFCS) for the Business Performance Group Meetings - Retail and Wholesale and Corporate Clients
  • Support the Executive Team by preparing agendas, minutes and collating papers for ad-hoc meetings including, but not limited to, the Executive Trading Review, Credit Committee and strategy sessions.
  • Support the business by undertaking ad-hoc projects or other pieces of work as directed by the Chief Executive
  • Liaise with and advice senior executives and shareholders on governance, inputs to the Board and key sub-committees and on other issues concerning the Chief Executive

Skills we require:

  • Track record of supporting senior level
  • Proven ability to meet strict deadlines and work as a team player in a high-pressure environment
  • High level of numeracy skills and excellent computer literacy at a high level with all Microsoft products
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
