Senior Desk-Top Claims Handler

An experienced Senior Desk-Top Claims Handler is required to join a firm of specialists in disaster recovery and restoration. The role will be office based full time in the Leeds/Bradford area.

Key responsibilities

  • You will handle cases from first point of contact for new cases to conclusion and invoicing.
  • You will communicate with customers and instructing clients over the telephone and in writing.
  • You will allocate contractors and manage building repair, restoration and other suppliers, proactively guiding claims to settlement.
  • Responding effectively to technical queries, issues and complaints.

About you:

  • You will have a minimum 2 years experience in handling property insurance claims.
  • You will have the ability to deal with insurers, policyholders, contractors and loss adjusters.
  • Capable of working within a small team.
  • Computer literate.
  • Experience of handling complaints

Salary and Benefits:

  • Salary up to £34,000 dependent on experience
