Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented School Cleaner to join our client in Shaw, Oldham. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to cleanliness, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for students and staff. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in their work and is able to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean classrooms, offices, corridors, and other areas of the school according to school standards and safety guidelines
- Empty bins, clean floors, dust surfaces, and ensure restrooms are sanitized
- Follow health and safety procedures and adhere to school policies
- Report any issues or maintenance needs to the site supervisor
Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS certificate (essential for safeguarding the students)
- Previous cleaning experience preferred, especially within a school or similar setting
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Ability to maintain a high standard of cleanliness
