Interim Finance Assistant | VC Backed SaaS | Part-time / Remote
Harmonic are delighted to be working with an elite SaaS Scale-Up backed by top VC's to find them a Finance Assistant to support their ever growing finance function during a busy period. Our client's product has widespread applicability across local governments, businesses, and financial institutions giving them huge potential in which to continue growth. They're looking to bring someone in for a minimum of 4 months, with the potential to extend further beyond there. This will be a 3-day per week part-time position.
The Role
In this position you will support the CFO and Management Accountant with the day-to-day running of the finance function. The perfect candidate will be versatile and hands on, taking on responsibilities such as AP & AR, Bank reconciliations, inbox management and accounts administration. Given the finance team work remotely, it is important that the successful candidate is a motivated self-starter and problem who isn't afraid to manage upwards when required.
Responsibilities
- Basic reporting.
- General AP & AR Transactions.
- Monitor registry fees spreadsheets daily.
- Bank reconciliations.
- Monitor inboxes
- General admin tasks and ad-hoc tasks for the CFO and Management Accountant
- Manage personal expense claims and company card.
- Lodge contracts and download customers summaries from the platform.
- Chase customers for outstanding payments.
Essential Experience
- Previous experience in a similar Finance Assistant or Accounts Administrator role.
- Experience within an SME.
- Excellent communication skills and very self-motivated.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Bonus Experience
- Experience in a SaaS or Tech business.
- Previous experience using Xero.

Start Date: ASAP
Day Rate: £160 - £200 per day
