R13 are supporting a fantastic company within the power sector, who are looking to recruit a Head of Operations. This is a core role within the business, focusing on the operational strategy through identifying gaps, forecasting future needs and reviewing current functions.
This is a full-time, permanent position based in Swaffham and is working 8:30am-5:30pm, Monday to Friday with the potential to work remotely 1 -2 times per month. The offered salary for this opportunity is £60,000 - £65,000 depending on experience.

The day to day
- Identifying areas for improvement within the business strategy, focusing on operational needs and carrying out interdepartmental redesign where needed.
- Managing and enhancing the operational function of the business, as well as managing budgets and ensuring departments are operating at maximum efficiency.
- Analysing departmental performance, presenting and working closely with senior management to improve processes.
- Assisting with the wider recruitment process for new staff.
You will have/be
- Solid experience as an Operations Manager or Head of Operations, with experience in project management and methodologies (ideally Agile, Lean or Six Sigma).
- Strong communication skills and ability to communicate at all levels, as well as work closely with multiple internal and external teams/stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage a busy and diverse workload.
- Natural problem solver and strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify problems and develop strong solutions.
