T2M are currently recruiting an Estimator on behalf of an Engineering business who service and maintain lift systems across the UK.
As an Estimator you would be responsible for estimating new enquiries and assisting the sales team in pricing and responding to leads from insurance reports and requests from engineers reports.
Key Responsibilities as an Estimator:
- To interpret customers' requirements from specifications and drawings and price/quite works accordingly.
- To use software to create and price quotations and proposals.
- Deal with client's technical questions and submit proposals to them.
- Follow up on existing enquiries from insurers and engineers reports.
Requirements to be a successful Estimator:
- Good understanding of service and repair activities and their associated cost.
- Experience of pricing and costing jobs for electrical and or mechanical maintenance works.
- Proven experience in a customer service role within a business-to-business environment.
- Ability to organise and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to communicate clearly.
As an Estimator you would be based from their office in Redditch, for this role you could expect a salary of up to £30,000 depending on experience, with other benefits including a fantastic holiday allowance - 33 days holiday entitlement (25 flexible days + 8 bank holidays).
