**Junior Product Manager (Supply Chain)

  • Annual Salary: Circa £34,000
  • Location: Cambridge (4 days per week in office)
  • Job Type: Full-time

We are seeking a Product Manager to join our busy supply chain team within the commercial department. This role is crucial for managing a specific range of products, such as power supplies, and acting as the go-to expert for product-related queries from teams and customers.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Manage a range of products, including placing and managing purchase orders with suppliers, managing deliveries, forecasting and managing stock levels, and conducting profit and loss analysis.
  • Upload new supplier pricing and report on the range performance.
  • Address questions from other teams and customers, building knowledge of the range.
  • Work in conjunction with the compliance manager to understand compliance for the range.
  • Oversee the life cycle of the product range.
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales Team to understand trends and future customer requirements.
  • Liaise with other departments such as Technical, Marketing, and Finance.
  • Take responsibility for the silicon chip manufacturing process, including planning raw materials with the chip design team, managing orders and throughput with assembly and test houses, and managing inventory requirements.

**Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Organised and able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent Excel skills and the ability to interpret data.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Experience within a supply chain environment and familiarity with an ERP system for procurement is ideal.
  • Experience in the electronics sector is beneficial but not necessary.
