We are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operative with a vaild FLT licence to join a well-established company based in Cardigan.
About Us: The warehouse team plays a crucial role in ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. We are looking for motivated and physically fit individuals to join our team.
Hourly Rate: £11.44 per hour with overtime at £11.94
Shifts: Monday to Friday 8:30am till 4:00pm with a Saturday on a rota shift pattern 9am till 12pm.
Job Type: Full-time Temporary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Picking orders, recording and checking stock, collating paperwork, yard picking
- Dealing with customers face to face in a professional manner
- Placing all incoming goods in an organised and efficient manner, and identifying stock anomalies and taking appropriate action
- Operating a forklift truck whilst adhering to requisite Health and Safety standards
- Using computer systems to assist with stocktaking, ordering of products and helping out on the till when required
- Storing chemicals and hazardous goods in the correct manner
- Participating in any duties in the interests of Health & Safety, including COSHH compliance, Spillage clean-up, and safe manual handling
Requirements:
- Good communication both written and verbal. Organised and able to work to tight deadlines.
- Some lifting involved,
- Ability to demonstrate good communication skills
- Extremely organised
- Must hold a valid licence
