Founded in the 19th century, they have been around the block a number of times and are considered to be at the pinnacle of the industry. As the number of members grows the importance of having a high level of security grows with it.
The Role
You'll be at the forefront of the security operation, liaising with other technical areas of the business. You'll be expected to own and manage the IT security function within the business, whilst also transferring knowledge to the rest of the team. Within the position you'll be managing a range of security focused areas such as Patching and Threats. The business already has a security partner so you'll also be expected to liaise with them, they take on the Pen testing and instant response. A key aspect of this role is having excellent verbal and written communication, which you will need to evidence. You'll be expected to produce statistical and written reports to a level that non-security aware colleague will be able to understand. An understanding of basic general compliance frameworks associated with Security, Cybersecurity and Data Protection Laws.
