We are currently supporting a vibrant and inclusive school dedicated to providing a high-quality education for students.
They are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Technician to join their team on a long-term temporary basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and set up equipment and materials for science lessons and practical experiments.
- Assist teachers during practical sessions and ensure all health and safety regulations are followed.
- Maintain and organise the science laboratories and prep rooms.
- Manage the inventory of science equipment and chemicals.
- Support the science department with administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a school environment is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory equipment and safety procedures.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service is essential.
