We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Motor Vehicle Lecturer to join our client's dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to teach students of varying abilities, from Level 1 to Level 2, and to play a crucial part in the expansion and development of the department. With your valuable industry experience, you will inspire the next generation of skilled experts and support individuals from diverse backgrounds to achieve their career and life ambitions.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Teach and mentor students across Level 1 and Level 2 motor vehicle courses.
- Collaborate closely with the Curriculum Manager to enhance and develop the department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality education.
- Engage in the promotion of courses within the motor vehicle curriculum area through participation in marketing events and sharing experiences.
- Utilise industry experience to provide practical, real-world insights to students.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching practices and curriculum development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in teaching and/or relevant industry experience.
- Minimum of Level 2 literacy and numeracy (GCSE or equivalent).
- Qualified FE teacher or willingness to work towards this qualification.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging and articulating clearly to class groups.
- Efficient administration skills for maintaining accurate student records.
